Rules and Regulations of Aayam English Academy

General Conduct:

  1. Punctuality and Attendance:
    • Attend classes on time and regularly.
    • Valid reasons for absence include illness or family emergency.
    • Arrive at school at least five minutes before the assembly bell.
  2. Uniform:
    • Wear the prescribed school uniform.
    • Girls must style their hair in two braids.
    • Boys should keep their hair neatly trimmed.
    • Improper uniforms may result in being disallowed from attending classes.

Behavior and Conduct:

  1. Respect:
    • Respect all teachers, staff members, fellow students, and school property.
    • Shouting, whistling, and using abusive language are strictly prohibited.
  2. Integrity:
    • Cheating, plagiarism, and other forms of dishonesty are prohibited.
  3. Discipline:
    • Change classrooms between periods in silence and orderly manner.
    • Running, playing, and shouting in corridors and staircases are not allowed.

Health and Safety:

  1. Personal Hygiene:
    • Maintain personal hygiene.
    • Come to school in clean, ironed uniforms.
  2. Electronic Devices:
    • Cell phones and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited within the school premises.
  3. Safety Measures:
    • Wear a helmet and possess a valid driving license when riding a two-wheeler.
    • Visitors are not allowed during school hours.
    • Lunch/tiffin boxes will not be delivered to the child.

Participation and Involvement:

  1. Academic and Co-curricular Activities:
    • Attend all academic programs, co-curricular activities, school functions, and other school-related programs.
  2. Assembly:
    • Arrive at school at least five minutes before the assembly bell.
  3. Cleanliness:
    • Keep the school premises clean and plastic-free.
    • Avoid using plastic bags and do not litter the classrooms or grounds.
    • Use the dustbins provided.

Parental Involvement:

  1. Communication:
    • Parents may meet the Principal, Vice-Principal, Coordinator, or Counselor by prior appointment.
  2. Diary Signatures:
    • Parents must sign remarks/observations in the school diary.
    • Failure to do so will result in the student receiving detention for the day.

Additional Rules:

  1. Saturday/Holiday Attendance:
    • No student is permitted to come to school on Saturdays/holidays without a teacher’s written note.
    • Students attending practices on Saturdays/holidays must be in school uniform.
  2. Books and Notebooks:
    • Label and neatly maintain all school books throughout the year.
    • Do not paste stickers or color the pages of school notebooks unless specifically instructed by teachers.
  3. Classroom Etiquette:
    • Do not go to the toilets or drink water during class time.
    • Follow the specific instructions given by teachers.
